Industries

Three industries, served end-to-end.

We have deliberately stayed narrow. CodeWave operates in only three industries — financial services, supply chain and industrial operations, and telecommunications — because mastery of regulated-domain modernization is not transferable on a slide deck. Each of our practice pods is staffed by engineers who have lived inside the relevant systems for years, and who treat the regulatory, operational, and cultural realities of their industry as first-class engineering constraints.

Financial Services01

Core Banking & Capital Markets

We modernize the systems on which deposits, ledgers, and clearing flows depend. Our financial-systems pod is staffed by engineers who have served as core-platform leads inside global retail banks, with deep practical experience of the regulators, auditors, and edge cases that make this industry unforgiving.

Core banking modernization sits at the intersection of three constraints that rarely align: a ledger that must never lose a transaction, a regulatory regime that audits every change, and a market that demands new products on monthly cadences. CodeWave specializes in the patterns that resolve those tensions — event-sourced ledgers with replayable audit trails, double-entry validation pipelines that reconcile against legacy systems of record in real time, and product-extension layers that let your business teams ship new offerings without ever touching the ledger core. We have led modernization tracks at two top-twenty-five retail banks, designed the migration patterns for a regional payment switch, and built the underlying ledger primitives used by a digital-only neobank serving more than four million customers.

Capabilities

Core ledger decomposition and event-sourcing
Real-time payments and ISO 20022 modernization
Open Banking, PSD2, and BIAN-aligned API surfaces
Card processing, KYC, and AML pipeline refactoring
Regulatory reporting and audit-trail unification
Logistics & Operations02

Supply Chain & Industrial Systems

We re-platform the WMS, TMS, MES, and SCADA systems that move physical goods at planetary scale. Our industrial pod operates under the assumption that the warehouse cannot stop, the conveyor cannot pause, and the truck must depart on schedule regardless of the migration timeline.

Supply chain modernization is uniquely brutal because the system under migration is never a pure software system. It is a software system entangled with people, forklifts, robotic pickers, RFID gateways, SCADA controllers, and a thousand undocumented operational adaptations that warehouse staff have invented over the years. We treat all of that as part of the system to be preserved. Our engagements typically begin with weeks of on-the-ground observation alongside operations teams, capturing not only the documented business logic but the tacit workflows that no requirements document has ever recorded. We then refactor the underlying platform — typically a fifteen- to thirty-year-old WMS or TMS — into an event-driven architecture that exposes warehouse state in real time, integrates cleanly with modern carrier APIs, and supports the new generation of autonomous fulfillment hardware. Our work powers the logistics backbone of a multi-continent retailer, a leading cold-chain operator, and a top-tier industrial manufacturer.

Capabilities

WMS and TMS re-platforming under live operations
MES and SCADA integration into modern data planes
EDI-to-API migration for carrier and 3PL ecosystems
Real-time inventory and warehouse digital twins
Forecasting, replenishment, and supplier portals
Communications03

Telecom Infrastructure & OSS/BSS

We modernize the operational and business support systems that national and regional carriers run on — provisioning, mediation, billing, charging, and customer-facing channels — without dropping a single subscriber call.

Telecom OSS and BSS estates are among the most architecturally complex software systems in the world. A single subscriber action can touch dozens of internal systems, traverse three generations of integration middleware, and ultimately settle into a billing engine whose business rules have been accreting since the late 1990s. CodeWave's telecom pod has decades of accumulated muscle memory for exactly this terrain. We modernize charging and billing engines into event-driven architectures capable of converged 5G and IoT use cases, refactor provisioning stacks to support sub-second activation, and re-platform customer-facing channels onto resilient API gateways that survive the long tail of legacy backend behavior. Our work has shaped the provisioning backbone of a national carrier, modernized the mediation layer of a regional operator, and delivered the API gateway powering a wholesale MVNO platform serving more than thirty downstream brands.

Capabilities

Convergent charging and 5G-ready billing modernization
Provisioning and order-management decomposition
Mediation and CDR pipeline refactoring onto Kafka
Customer portals, IVR, and care-channel modernization
Network inventory and assurance platform re-platforming
What's true across every industry

The patterns travel. The expertise does not.

Regulators are stakeholders

We design for audit and supervisory review as first-class requirements, not afterthoughts.

Downtime is unacceptable

Every engagement assumes the system under modernization is operating at full capacity throughout.

Legacy logic is institutional memory

We preserve, document, and transfer the business intelligence encoded in your existing code.
